Capitol Aggregates, Inc. seeks a Technical Services Intern to support product testing, data analysis, lab activities, and customer technical support. Get hands-on experience with cement, concrete, and aggregate materials and learn how technical services impact product performance.

You will gain experience preparing mortar cubes, concrete mixes, and aggregates, documenting results, and assisting with customer inquiries under experienced staff guidance.

Formación

• Currently enrolled in a degree program in Concrete Industry Management (CIM), Materials Science, Chemistry, Civil Engineering, or a related scientific, technical, or engineering field.
• Previous coursework or experience involving material testing, concrete, cement, or laboratory procedures is preferred but not required.
• Mechanical aptitude with an interest in laboratory and materials testing equipment.

Responsabilidades

• Learn and apply established testing methods, procedures, and equipment under the guidance of Technical Services staff.
• Assist with preparing cement, concrete, mortar, and aggregate materials for laboratory testing.
• Assist with mortar cube preparation, concrete mixes, and aggregate material testing.
• Perform laboratory tests under the guidance of experienced Technical Services personnel.
• Collect, organize, document, and assist with analyzing laboratory and product testing data.
• Assist with maintaining accurate records of laboratory testing, test results, and related technical documentation.
• Support Technical Services staff in responding to customer inquiries and technical questions.
• Assist with researching and troubleshooting product performance or other technical concerns raised by customers.
• Learn how laboratory testing and technical data are used to evaluate product performance and support customer needs.
