Job summary

GEA Group is seeking a Technical Service Support Engineer for solids handling in Belgium. You will be the technical expert supporting pharmaceutical and industrial equipment globally, combining engineering know-how with customer interaction to maximize uptime and performance.

You will collaborate with service teams and sales peers, develop service solutions, and contribute to training programs while working in a hybrid setup that allows two work-from-home days per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical, electrical, process engineering or related technical discipline.
• Hands-on technical knowledge of pharmaceutical OSD equipment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and modern digital tools, including AI-supported solutions.
• Excellent communication skills with international stakeholders.

• Identify and recommend spare parts based on customer requirements and equipment configurations.
• Develop spare parts packages, service documentation, and maintenance plans.

• Support resolution of complaints, claims, and technical issues with internal experts.

About the position

Your responsibilities and tasks

As Technical Service Support Engineer, you will be a key technical partner for customers, service teams, and sales colleagues. You will provide technical guidance, develop service solutions, and help ensure customers get the most value from their equipment.

Your Responsibilities:

• Support Service Account Managers and regional teams with technical expertise during the sales process.
• Identify and recommend the correct spare parts based on customer requirements and equipment configurations.
• Develop spare parts packages, service documentation, and maintenance plans.
• Provide remote technical support and troubleshooting to customers and field service engineers worldwide.
• Prepare technical proposals for equipment upgrades and modifications
• Contribute to technical training programs for customers and colleagues.
• Support the resolution of complaints, claims, and technical issues in collaboration with internal experts.

Your profile and qualifications

A Bachelor\'s or master’s degree in mechanical, electrical, process engineering, or a related technical discipline.

Hands-on technical knowledge of pharmaceutical OSD equipment.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Experience working with Microsoft Office and modern digital tools, including AI-supported solutions.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with customers and international stakeholders.

The ability to interpret technical documentation such as drawings, schematics, specifications, and P&IDs.

Experience in spare parts, service operations, installed-base management, or after-sales support is considered an advantage.

Excellent command of the Dutch and English language, both verbally and in writing.
