Job summary

Axalta, a global coatings leader, seeks a Technical Service Specialist (m/f/d) for Central Europe. This fully remote role can be based anywhere in Central Europe (FR, BE, NL, D, PL, AT).

You will join the General Industrial Business Unit and work with customers to deliver technical support, plant audits, and line trials. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in powder coatings, fluent English, strong communication skills, and a willingness to travel around 50%.

Qualifications

• Strong coatings or chemical background.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant powder coatings experience.
• Fluent English; Dutch, French or German is a plus.
• Strong written and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite technical support to customers.
• Manage line trials to develop new business.
• Partner with Area Sales Managers on solution-based selling.
• Conduct plant/process audits and deliver improvement reports.
• Manage technically driven accounts to grow business and retain customers.
• Investigate and resolve quality issues.
• Deliver technical training programs (theoretical & practical).

This is a fully remote position, which can be situated anywhere in Central Europe (FR, BE, NL, D, PL, AT).

Key responsibilities:

• Provide onsite technical support to customers
• Manage line trials to develop new business
• Partner with Area Sales Managers on solution-based selling
• Conduct plant/process audits and deliver improvement reports
• Manage technically driven accounts to grow business and retain customers
• Investigate and resolve quality issues
• Handle technical aspects of quality claims
• Build strong relationships with key accounts
• Deliver technical training programs (theoretical & practical)
• Liaise with suppliers and partners
• Contribute to the EMEA technical team
• Conduct Approved Applicator audits
• Manage the lab
