Overview

KEMIN ANIMAL NUTRITION AND HEALTH – EMENA is searching a: Technical Service Manager Pig Health for EUROPE.

The Technical Service Manager (TSM) Pig Health for Europe will be responsible for the veterinary, technical and scientific support of the sales team and our customers regarding our nutritional portfolio focusing on pig health. The portfolio is comprised of probiotics, immune modulators, acidifiers, encapsulated butyrates, encapsulated organic acids, essential oils and mycotoxin binders.

Responsibilities

We are a team of health professionals, who strive to decrease the use of medicines in food producing animals. Our mission is to keep animals healthy and ensure animal welfare. We do that through developing tailored preventive strategies with our nutritional solutions such as probiotics. Healthy animals, mean healthy meat, milk and eggs for the consumer.

You are the direct partner of the sales team in supporting pig health projects in Europe. This consists of:

  • Translate field issues and customer challenges into solutions to support our sales managers and customers; developing prevention plans
  • Provide technical training and support to the sales;
  • Oral presentations and poster presentations in dedicated events (conferences, symposia, etc.)
  • Provide direct veterinary support to our customers, distributors and you support critical field projects lead by the sales.
  • Interact with the lab teams to secure your projects get all needed diagnostic support;
  • Participate in and attend local and international exhibitions, seminars, trainings and workshops;
  • Translate research findings (i.e. animal trials, field experiences) to technical and sales tools (i.e. technical papers, success stories) together with the product manager, make presentations for customers, symposia and workshops;
  • Provide technical input for lab services and research projects;
  • Inform the health team on technical issues and competitive info;
  • Support to R&D and registration affairs where needed, by collecting technical information and trial results;
  • Communicate and exchange experience with counterparts.
  • Provide expertise on pig health for the entire company
Qualifications

Are you a pig veterinarian who has experience in the industry or who wants to make the jump towards the industry and do you recognize yourself in the points below? You might be our new TSM Pig Health

  • University degree in Veterinary Medicine with focus on pig health;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are needed, a certain affinity for commercial work;
  • A high degree of personal motivation, a desire to make an immediate contribution
  • You like working in a cross-functional team;
  • English speaking; knowledge on other languages is an advantage.
  • Some field experience in pigs
  • Experience in a technical/commercial business in pig health is a plus.
  • Ability to travel
