CareerNerds, LLC is seeking a hands-on Technical Service Manager for our Orlando, FL office to lead the local field team while remaining engaged in field operations. You will price and win work and own job profitability, with travel up to 50% and relocation available for strong candidates.

You will schedule crews, review test reports, build quotes, mentor technicians to advance NETA levels, and ensure safety and quality on all projects.

Qualifications

• NETA certification required or Level III/IV preferred, willing to test up a level.
• 5+ years in electrical testing and maintenance (breakers, MCCs, relays, switchgear).
• Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience leading crews and willingness to work nights, weekends, and emergencies.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsabilités

• Schedule field crew and coordinate manpower across branches.
• Walk jobs, build quotes, and present technical options to customers.
• Review test reports and audit field work for quality and safety.
• Track job costs to meet margin goals.
• Mentor technicians and support career advancement.
