Job summary

Sayler's Suncoast Water Inc. in Pinellas County, FL, is hiring a Service & Installation Technician for full-time, in-person work. You will service and install water softeners, conditioning equipment and RO systems, diagnose issues, and interact with customers to ensure quality results.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of plumbing experience.
• At least 1 year of service/technical experience in water conditioning, HVAC, automotive, plumbing or related mechanical field.
• Clean Florida driver's license and driving record.
• Ability to work independently and stay organized.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Experience with Fleck and/or Clack controls.
• Previous water-conditioning or water-treatment experience.
• Experience diagnosing pumps, valves, or other mechanical equipment.

Responsibilities

We are a 75-year-old, family-owned Pinellas County company looking for an experienced, dependable Service & Installation Technician to join our team.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on mechanical work, troubleshooting, and working directly with customers. You will service and install water softeners, water-conditioning equipment, and reverse osmosis systems throughout Pinellas County.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in doing quality work, communicates well with customers and coworkers, stays organized, and can diagnose problems and find practical solutions without constant supervision.

What You'll Do

• Diagnose and repair water-conditioning and related equipment
• Install water softeners, water-conditioning equipment, and reverse osmosis systems
• Perform preventive maintenance and equipment inspections

What We're Looking For

Required:

Compensation & Benefits

$26.00–$30.00 per hour, depending on experience, plus commission and bonus opportunities; Qualified service technicians earn $65,000-$80,000 per year.
