Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a field-focused technical advisor to install, configure, and tailor weapon system hardware, software, and firmware upgrades at customer sites. The role supports DoD programs, provides in-depth troubleshooting, and delivers training to customers.

Travel >25% CONUS/OCONUS required; US citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain a Secret clearance are necessary. You will work independently and in teams to ensure mission success.

Qualifications

• Must be able to install weapon system hardware, software and firmware upgrades.
• Provide in-depth troubleshooting and analysis for the system.
• Experience supporting field maintenance for DoD programs.
• Able to understand engineering technical verbiage and documentation.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Provides technical advice and guidance on installation, adaptation, configuration or enhancement of company technical products, programs and systems. Provides expertise for resolving technical problems, troubleshoots product and modifies product to customer requirements. Provides training to customers. Work may be done at customer site. Includes software systems and programs designed for customers (corporate and individual) and government entities.

Basic Qualifications

• Able to install weapon system hardware, software and firmware upgrades
• Provide in-depth troubleshooting and analysis for the system
• Experienced supporting field maintenance for DoD programs
• Experienced understanding engineering technical verbiage and documentation
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• For consideration - Must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain/maintain a Secret security clearance and travel >25% CONUS and OCONUS.

Desired Skills

• Ability to brief Senior Leaders Level

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $81500.00 - $151300.00
