As a world-class corporate citizen guided by its mission statement, “To provide innovative, clean and energy-efficient solutions for a better tomorrow,”

Position Summary:

We are seeking recent graduates with an interest in electrical and mechanical engineering who are eager to build a hands-on career in field service. In this role, you will support mission-critical UPS power and HVAC systems across data centers, telecommunications, energy infrastructure, industrial and automation facilities, and electric vehicle charging applications.

Delta will provide comprehensive training on UPS system operation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and the company’s product portfolio. You will work in the field alongside experienced engineers, gaining practical knowledge through hands-on assignments, customer support, system commissioning, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.

This position requires a willingness to travel. Local customer support will generally involve driving, while occasional air travel may be required for training or assignments outside your region. The successful candidate will be based in the assigned market and will support customer needs within that area.

Key Responsibilities

1. Technical Support & Incident Management

  • Provide rapid, expert-level technical support to internal repair technicians and external customers across Delta's Energy Infrastructure and Data Center product lines.
  • Serve as a primary responder for the Customer Service Contact Center - triaging inbound technical inquiries, processing RMA requests, and guiding customers through structured troubleshooting procedures with urgency and precision.
  • Inspect, diagnose, and evaluate returned (RMA) and finished goods; produce accurate, detailed findings to support failure analysis and root cause identification.
  • Own open support cases end-to-end - proactively monitoring, following up, and closing cases within defined SLA windows to ensure zero lapses in customer commitment.
  • Rapidly identify and elevate critical field incidents, recurring failures, or systemic product issues to R&D, FAE, and management - providing concise technical summaries and data-backed insights that accelerate resolution.
  • Collaborate across global teams - both remotely and on-site - to resolve complex, time-sensitive technical challenges and align service strategies across time zones.
  • Lead and participate in customer and stakeholder meetings to diagnose operational pain points and co-develop actionable technical solutions under pressure.

3. Documentation & Knowledge Enablement

  • Author, update, and maintain high-quality technical documentation - including troubleshooting guides, repair procedures, and knowledge base articles - that enable faster resolution and customer self-service.
  • Actively contribute to Delta's centralized knowledge platforms, translating real-world incident learnings into reusable service intelligence for the broader team.

4. Operational Excellence & Compliance

  • Generate thorough RMA service reports and field activity records that support management review, process improvement, and audit readiness.
  • Uphold a clean, organized, and safe work environment in strict accordance with Delta's safety policies and operational standards.
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and ethical guidelines - including data handling and confidentiality protocols - without exception.

5. Mission-Critical Availability & Adaptability

  • Commit to flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, holidays, and 2nd/3rd shift rotations to sustain 24/7 service center operations and meet global customer SLAs.
  • Respond with urgency to evolving priorities - including new product launches (Energy Infrastructure, Data Center, Automation), operational escalations, and field travel requirements on short notice.
  • Demonstrate composure and decisive action in high-pressure, time-sensitive situations where downtime impact is significant.
  • Travel as required - domestic and international travel to customer sites, job sites, partner facilities, or global Delta offices may be necessary on short notice to support critical installations, field escalations, on-site troubleshooting, or product deployments.
  • Complete all required training within Delta's Global Business Operations (GBO) service framework to achieve cross-product proficiency.
  • Maintain and expand technical knowledge of Delta's core product lines - with an ongoing focus on Energy Infrastructure and Data Center solutions - as product capabilities and customer environments evolve.
