Job summary

Johnson Controls invites recent engineering graduates to join the BEST program, a 6-month sales development track designed to launch a career in technical sales. From day one, you'll be paired with a mentor and work with a nationwide network of sales professionals to build the skills needed for client-facing success.

You'll gain hands-on experience, classroom training, and interactions with customers while learning to apply technical knowledge to real-world building performance challenges.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required; anticipated graduation Dec 2026 or May/Jun 2027.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate with teams.
• U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency required.
• Mechanical, Industrial, or related Engineering preferred.
• Internship/co-op or customer-facing experience preferred.
• Interest in technical sales and customer relationship management.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a structured 6-month sales development program.
• Learn Johnson Controls' HVAC equipment, services, and building solutions.
• Support sales activities, proposals, and project opportunities.
• Build relationships with contractors, architects, engineers, and building owners.
• Present technical solutions that help customers improve building performance and sustainability.
• Partner with local sales and operations teams to deliver successful customer outcomes.
