Job Description

Home based position. Preferred location(s) are PA, NY or NJ

Duties:
  • Customer sales: meet territory sales revenue goals as set forth by company management.
  • Responsible for entire sales process (lead generation to close).
  • Provide quality, professional support to dissolution testing labs.
  • Understand customers’ requirements and provide recommendations for improvements.
  • Continuously learn about Hanson’s products and services, industry trends, regulatory requirements, customer challenges, competitor products, etc.
  • Maintain all respective sales opportunities, communications, schedules and tasks in CRM.
  • All activities and customer objectives must be documented. Directly responsible for territory expense budget; submit detailed expense reports.
  • Collaborate on marketing requirements for new product development.
  • Become knowledgeable of competitors and competitive forces in territory. Attend conferences and industry trade shows as required.
  • Find sales opportunities, progress through pipeline, close sales.
  • Continuous planning of future customer appointments, trips, logistics of demonstrations and presentations.
  • Control equipment inventory for entire territory.
  • Maintain and report changes of Customer Automation tracking database.
Qualifications:
  • Detail oriented, motivated self-starter.
  • Ability to sell premium-priced capital equipment based on features and value. Excellent communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills.
  • Skilled in standard Microsoft software programs for business (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Ability to travel up to 75%.
  • Minimum 2 years sales experience of laboratory equipment with dissolution equipment preferred.
  • BA/BS in science required. Laboratory experience a plus.
