Washing Systems, LLC (WSI)

Now part of the Kao family of companies, WSI is seeking a highly motivated, self-driven Technical Sales Representative (TSR) to join our team. As the largest supplier of commercial laundry detergents in North America, we provide high-quality commercial laundry and chemical products to uniform and linen rental companies. The TSR will work remotely and on client sites within an assigned territory, providing technical solutions, identifying and executing sales opportunities through data analysis, and developing long-term relationships with management at all levels.

This role is pivotal to our organization, as our exceptional service drives our exponential growth. The ideal candidate will have strong technical or mechanical skills, prior field service experience, excellent technological aptitude, strong people skills, and adept problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

Essential Responsibilities and Tasks
  1. Promote and sell the full product line to existing customers
  2. Develop a key sales prospect list, establish relationships, and acquire new customers
  3. Maintain appropriate sales coverage within your territory
  4. Provide ongoing service, maintenance, and communication for 6-10 accounts
  5. Install and program WSI chemical dosing equipment
  6. Lead planning and execution of new installations or conversions
  7. Maintain company-provided equipment in proper working condition
  8. Operate within the assigned expense budget
  9. Collect past due accounts receivable, where applicable
  10. Eliminate rush orders of products
  11. Submit all reports timely
Qualifications

To succeed, candidates should meet the following criteria:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Mechanical, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 1-2 years' industry-related experience; military background a plus
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and technical/mechanical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, and order processing software
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Physical Demands
  • Occasionally lift/move up to 25 pounds
  • Requires close vision and focus adjustment
  • Frequently stand, walk, sit, handle, and communicate
Work Environment
  • Travel at least 50% of the time to customer sites and plants
  • Work in wet, humid, hot, or chemically exposed environments
  • Noise levels may vary from moderate to loud in production areas
