Job summary

OneSource Technical, Inc. is seeking a Technical Sales Representative to grow our presence in the foundry and metal casting industries. The role will be based in a home office in Pennsylvania and involves selling specialty chemicals and consumables to industrial customers.

Travel may be required to support key accounts and meet customers' technical needs. The compensation features a base salary commensurate with experience plus uncapped commissions.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years’ experience in sales and marketing of technical products.
• Proven prospecting and closing skills with a track record of delivering results.
• Knowledge of the foundry or die casting industries is highly desired.
• Ability to travel and pass a driving record background check.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop maximum sales aligned with company goals.
• Identify opportunities for sales expansion and create action plans with liaison across departments.
• Demonstrates products/services and assists in selection for customers.
• Familiarizes accounts with new products and developments.
• Communicate pricing, terms, delivery dates with management approval.
• Respond to territory needs and customer concerns; investigate complaints as needed.
• Identify and develop points of purchase and relationships at management level.
• Submit sales plans and territory goals.
• Review and update goals quarterly with Sales Manager.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the National Sales Manager.

Opportunity Summary

We are excited to be partnering with a growing global specialty chemical manufacturer to hire a Technical Sales Representative. This position will sell specialty chemicals and consumables into the foundry and metal casting industries. A successful candidate will have experience selling into industrial metalworking markets. These factories are steel toe boot / hard hat environments. This position will work from a home office in Pennsylvania.

Job Duties

• Maintain and develop maximum sales consistent with Company goals and objectives.
• Identify opportunities for sales expansion and recommend specific action plans to accomplish and provide proper liaison between customers and production, laboratory, technical service, and management functions.
• Demonstrates products/services and assists in the selection of products/services most applicable to customers’ needs.
• Demonstrates and familiarizes established accounts with new products/services and developments.
• Communicates pricing, terms, delivery dates, etc. on orders, subject to the approval of management.
• Respond promptly to all needs and requests from within territory (e.g., customer concerns, technical issues, etc.). Investigate and report on customer complaints as needed.
• Identify and develop points of purchase at accounts and develop relationships at these and other significant management levels.
• Submit sales plans, goals, and objectives for territory.
• Review and update goals and objectives quarterly with Sales Manager.
• Other duties as assigned by the National Sales Manager.
