Job summary

OneSource Technical, Inc. is partnering with a growing global specialty chemical manufacturer to hire a Technical Sales Representative. This role will sell specialty chemicals and consumables into the foundry and metal casting industries, requiring experience in industrial metalworking markets.

The position offers a home office in Central or Northern Indiana and a base salary with uncapped commissions. The ideal candidate will travel as needed, maintain strong customer relationships, and

Qualifications

• 1-3 years’ experience in sales and marketing of technical products.
• Proven prospecting and closing skills with a track record of delivering results.
• Knowledge of the foundry or die casting industries is highly desired.
• Willingness to travel and pass a driving record background check.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop maximum sales consistent with Company goals and objectives.
• Identify opportunities for sales expansion and coordinate with customers and internal teams.
• Demonstrates products/services and assists in product selection for customers.
• Familiarizes accounts with new products/services and developments.
• Communicates pricing, terms, and delivery dates with management approval.
• Respond promptly to needs from within territory and investigate customer complaints.
• Identify and develop points of purchase and build relationships with management levels.
• Submit sales plans, goals, and objectives for territory.
• Review and update goals quarterly with Sales Manager.
• Other duties as assigned by the National Sales Manager.
