International Paper is seeking a Technical Sales Representative in Mt. Carmel, PA. You will address technical issues, collaborate with senior leaders, and develop customer value propositions to gain market advantage.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Related Field is required.
• 8+ years’ experience with packaging applications is required.
• Experience in the corrugated box industry is a plus.
• Maintenance or engineering education or advanced trade certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Resolve significant technical, scientific, or engineering issues affecting sales installation and use of organization products.
• Coordinate appropriate course of action with senior technical leaders.
• Provide insights for development of customer Value Propositions that will create IP market advantage.
• Provide timely feedback on market, customer, and competitive activity influencing the market.
• Participate in development and has responsibility for delivery of financial solutions.
• Acts as a technical expert in troubleshooting the technical aspects of product sales, manufacturing, and development.
• Visit company manufacturing and customer facilities to identify and resolve technical product manufacturing issues and, in some organizations, the installation, repair, and preventative maintenance of equipment sales.
• Serve as a resource for other internal departments and may be sought out by others for advice and solutions.
• Identify and initiate problem resolution process improvement and serves as primary resource to company and customer operations.

Multiple factors, including Individual experience, skills and abilities will determine where an employee is ultimately placed in the pay range. Variable pay may provide additional opportunities for financial awards. This job is eligible to participate in IP’s annual incentive plan.
