Role Description The Technical Sales Representative is a full-time, on-site role based in Colorado Springs, CO. This position is responsible for promoting and selling RIT’s quality assurance software solutions to healthcare organizations, medical physics departments, and imaging centers. Day-to-day tasks include identifying and qualifying prospects, conducting product demonstrations (in-person and virtual), preparing proposals and quotes, and managing the sales cycle from initial contact through closing and follow-up. The role also involves collaborating with technical and support teams to address customer requirements, attending industry conferences and trade shows, and maintaining accurate records in the customer relationship management (CRM) system. The Technical Sales Representative provides ongoing account management, gathers customer feedback, and helps inform product enhancements and marketing initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to understand and explain software solutions, QA workflows, and basic concepts in radiation therapy and diagnostic imaging.
  • Experience in sales, account management, or business development, preferably in healthcare, medical devices, or scientific/technical software.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage clinical and technical stakeholders at multiple levels.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, productivity tools (e.g., "Microsoft Office or equivalent"), and virtual meeting platforms.
  • Demonstrated skills in relationship building, negotiation, and closing sales while maintaining a customer-focused approach.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities, including managing multiple opportunities and meeting deadlines.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as sciences, engineering, physics, or a healthcare-related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Understanding of regulatory and accreditation environments in medical imaging or radiation therapy is beneficial.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings, site visits, and industry events.
