To complement our team, we are looking for a customer- and team-oriented individual for our Plasma Control Technologies division as a remote-based

Technical Sales Manager - Western Region (US) - semiconductor RF capital equipment

In the Plasma Control Technologies (PCT) division, we manufacture specialized components that are required for the precise control of plasma processes and are used in the production of memory chips or touch screens for sensors, smartphones or tablets.

What will you do?

  • Responsible for the technical sales of COMET PCT product portfolio while managing key accounts and penetrating complex organizations.
  • Support Regional Sales growth though customer visits (existing and new), industry trade shows, and networking through advanced application knowledge.
  • Technical knowledge sufficient to effectively identify customer needs and define and present solutions.
  • Use knowledge of semiconductor equipment OEM, 3rd party and end user markets, benefits and features of new technology trends to drive customer solutions.
  • Create, present, and implement business cases for business development projects.
  • Translate benefits and features of new technology to facilitate customer adoption of next generation products.
  • Lead negotiations and close contracts with customers and partners.
  • Manage negotiations, contacts, and quotes process, while developing accurate sales forecasts.
  • Collaborate with R&D and marketing in the definition of new products to serve defined market segments

What you bring:

  • Approximately +10 years of experience in sales / business development or relevant customer facing roles.
  • Experience in capital equipment sales, with focus on RF applications is a necessity for this role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a Mechanical/Electrical or Industrial Engineering is preferred.
  • Ability to combine technical and commercial aspects of the Sales and Business Development process to build customer value proposition.
  • Record of selling to both large and small companies and developing strategic key accounts.
  • Ability to travel within the assigned territory in the United States as well as occasional travel to Europe.

The target salary range for this job is approximately $155,000 - $170,000 plus eligibility for sales incentive plan.
