Hayward Holdings Inc. seeks a District Technical Sales Manager to drive field-based technical support and sales growth across the Bay Area.

You will partner with district teams to implement market-specific strategies, grow the dealer network, and deliver outstanding service and training. You will coordinate with DSMs, BDMs, and RSTM to optimize aftermarket support, repairs, and service coverage while meeting quarterly sales goals and expanding Hayward's footprint in residential and commercial

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma required; a 4-year degree is preferred.
• At least 3 years of technical experience in the pool industry, field management preferred.
• Experience with swimming pool products, repairs, and applications.
• Proficient with business tools and reporting systems; strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with DSMs, BDMs, and RSTM to develop market strategies for the Bay Area.
• Build and train service provider networks; address network gaps and escalations.
• Manage territory budgets; support dealers, builders, retailers and service providers.
• Conduct on-site visits, customer visits, and participate in trade shows and events.

This role partners with District Sales Managers (DSMs), Business Development Managers (BDMs), and the Regional Service and Training Manager (RSTM) to develop and implement market-specific strategies, support new dealer relationships, and build a strong local network of service providers. As a key resource for technical expertise and decision-making, the DTSM plays a critical role in driving customer satisfaction and sales growth. Location/Territory: This role focuses on the Bay Area in California.Responsibilities:Strategic Collaboration and Market DevelopmentPartner with DSMs, BDMs, and the RSTM to create and execute market-specific sales and service strategies.Identify opportunities to grow sales within specific product categories, customer segments, or markets.Conduct regular business review meetings to evaluate progress, address gaps, and adjust plans.Implement initiatives to enhance the Hayward experience, including aftermarket support, training, and service network optimization.Service Network ManagementBuild, train, and maintain a robust network of service providers to perform repairs and support Hayward products.Identify and recruit service providers to address network gaps.Serve as a technical resource and resolve escalated service issues.Train service providers directly or in collaboration with the RSTMTerritory Management and Sales SupportManage territory budgets and contribute to annual sales planning.Support trade customers, including builders, retailers, dealers, and service providers, to achieve sales goals.Conduct customer visits with DSMs to strengthen relationships and onboard new dealers.Facilitate training events and participate in trade shows and other local events to engage customers. 4. Technical Expertise and Customer SupportAct as the local corporate presence for technical services, proactively managing customer relationships through site visits, feedback, and training.Address and resolve escalated customer service issues.Conduct on-site repairs or education sessions as needed.Qualifications:High school diploma required; 4-year degree or pool industry experience preferred.3+ years of technical experience in the pool industry, ideally in a field-management role.Expertise in swimming pool products, repairs, and applications. Proficiency in business tools and reporting systems.Strong skills in problem-solving, collaboration, and project management.Must reside within the Bay Area to facilitate effective coverage.Pay Range:USD $86,000.00/annualized - USD $100,000.00/annualized
