Job Summary:


Collaborate and build strong relationships with customers, general contractors, developers, architects, and structural engineers to identify and implement cost-effective solutions using CSC products. This includes budgetary design, value engineering, and winning projects by showcasing high technical competency around design with CSC products, aligned with our corporate mission, values, and departmental objectives.



ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:



  • Develop strong relationships with customers and relevant stakeholders, including specifiers of joist and deck products.

  • Build and maintain a pipeline of leads through networking, cold calling, trade shows, etc.

  • Present and promote lunch-and-learn sessions to potential CSC customers or specifying stakeholders.

  • Prepare cost estimates and negotiate projects to meet departmental objectives.

  • Review contract documents to determine material and labor requirements and prepare takeoffs for pricing.

  • Input takeoff data into CSC Design and Pricing software to determine accurate project costs.

  • Generate a scope of work, including all exclusions, clarifications, and conditions, listing all bid documents used in the estimate.

  • Present value engineering opportunities to offer savings for both the customer and CSC.

  • Provide budgetary designs and pricing based on conceptual information.

  • Analyze customer needs to identify areas where the company can offer unique value propositions.

  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure client expectations are met or exceeded.

  • Answer stakeholder questions regarding the technical aspects and feasibility of CSC products.

  • Monitor competitor activities and pricing levels by soliciting customer feedback.

  • Work closely with internal teams, including project managers, estimators, and engineers, to ensure successful contract execution.

  • Provide feedback on customer preferences, competitors, and market conditions to refine service offerings and sales strategies.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
