Job Overview
We are seeking a Technical Sales Executive based in the Midwest. This remote position requires 50% travel within the Midwest region of the United States.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, general contractors, developers, architects, and structural engineers to identify and implement cost-effective solutions using CSC products.
- Create a robust pipeline of leads through networking, cold calling, trade shows, etc.
- Present and promote lunch-and-learn sessions to potential customers and stakeholders.
- Prepare cost estimates, negotiate projects, and review contract documents to determine material and labor requirements.
- Input data into CSC Design and Pricing software to ensure accurate project costing.
- Generate scope of work documents, including exclusions, clarifications, and conditions, utilizing bid documents.
- Identify and present value engineering opportunities to save costs for both customers and CSC.
- Provide budgetary designs and pricing based on conceptual information.
- Analyze customer needs to offer unique value propositions.
- Collaborate with project teams to meet and exceed client expectations.
- Respond to stakeholder questions about the technical aspects and feasibility of CSC products.
- Monitor competitor activities and pricing by gathering feedback from customers.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure successful contract execution.
- Provide insights on customer preferences, market conditions, and competitors to improve service offerings.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
