The role supports remote or hybrid work, with periodic time in shops and customer sites to ensure accurate quoting and robust relationships across sales, engineering, and operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial sales or applications engineering within machining, fabrication, and industrial plants.
• Strong understanding of machining processes, fabrication methods, and industrial equipment.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to customers and internal teams.
• Comfortable working in shops, plants, and field environments as required.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a remote or hybrid setting.
• Strong problem-solving mindset with a focus on practical, buildable solutions.
• Ability to manage multiple opportunities and projects simultaneously.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Understand equipment issues, repair needs, and customer manufacturing requirements.
• Visit customer sites to assess applications and constraints.
• Collaborate with engineers, machinists, fabricators, and field teams to develop solutions.
• Prepare estimates and quotations including material, machining, fabrication, and labor.
