Job summary

Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. in Missouri is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to develop and maintain relationships with engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, and management teams, while identifying new business opportunities within existing and prospective accounts.

You will collaborate with engineering to craft technical solutions, support product introductions, prepare quotations, and coordinate internal resources to meet milestones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in technical sales or related field.
• Travel up to 20–30% for customer visits and industry events.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customer contacts, including engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, and management teams.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing and prospective accounts.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to develop technical solutions that meet customer requirements.
• Support new product introductions, product improvements, and application development.
• Coordinate internal resources to ensure customer expectations, project milestones, and delivery objectives are achieved.
• Communicate with customers regarding quotations, pricing, contracts, product updates, and future opportunities.
• Develop and execute account strategies to achieve sales growth and profitability objectives.
• Prepare and submit accurate quotations (RFQs), product costing requests, and related sales documentation.
• Assist with preliminary product concepts, design reviews, and prototype evaluations.
• Maintain accurate customer records, forecasts, sales activity reports, and project updates.
• Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and emerging technologies to identify growth opportunities.
• Participate in trade shows, customer visits, and industry events.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives, quality standards, and workplace safety programs.
• Contribute to cross-functional team meetings and process improvement efforts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
