Job summary

ITW in the United States seeks a Technical Sales Support professional to ensure customer integration and implementation of established products. The role spans pre-sales and post-sales technical consulting, including cost estimates and hood design drawings from blueprints and plans.

Reports to Engineering Sales Manager and supports RFQ/RFF processes, with on-site collaboration across field teams to drive quotes, technical proposals, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, technology or engineering.
• 4+ years of experience in a technical field or equivalent training.

Responsibilities

• Learn, operate and optimize the RFQ through RFF processes.
• Obtain orders and releases assigned by Sales Manager.
• Read plans and kitchen layouts; interpret into hood designs.
• Use design tools to draw and quote project opportunities with due dates.
• Design fire suppression, Ansul Systems.
• Design and quote DCV interfacing with BMS systems.
• Support Sales Reps as assigned by Sales Manager.
• Assist in technical proposals showing product value to customers.
• Ensure plans are feasible within cost, time and environment constraints.
• Help measure customer experience and post KPI results.
• Collaborate 100% on site with other departments; report on competition.
