Job summary

Sandvik Coromant is seeking a Sales Engineer/Account Manager to cover DuPage County, IL, and surrounding Northeastern IL. You will serve as the go-to expert for customers, delivering tailored tooling and machining solutions while building long-term relationships and driving revenue.

You’ll collaborate with internal teams, leverage CRM, and travel about 10% to support client needs, with a focus on growth in a global tooling leader’s portfolio.

Qualifications

• Degree in manufacturing engineering or related field.
• Hands-on experience with CNC machining, CAD/CAM, and cutting tools.
• Proven success in technical sales or customer-facing roles.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel (~10% overnight).

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Deliver the full Coromant product and service offering.
• Identify new business opportunities and grow market share.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver total customer solutions.
• Use technical expertise to consult on CNC machining and tooling applications.
