Job summary

Rockwell Automation's Technical Sales and Consulting Internship Program is a 12-week paid internship where you will develop your sales, technical, and professional skillsets. You will work with manufacturing customers to help them improve their productivity using Rockwell Automation solutions.

You will receive in-person, online, and on-the-job training. There are three tracks available: Business Development Representative, Account Manager, and Technology Consultant.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a bachelor's or advanced degree from an accredited college or university.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
• Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale (preferred).
• Having a valid US driver's license and a personal vehicle to use (Account Manager and Technology Consultant tracks).
• Previous internship experience with Rockwell Automation or related networks is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Business Development Representatives develop and qualify new sales opportunities. Work with Sales, Customer Success and Marketing to target opportunities and reach customers by phone, email, and remote meetings.
• Account Managers develop and implement sales strategies to meet goals and grow market share, including face-to-face engagement with customers.
• Technology Consultants communicate benefits of Rockwell Automation technology and products, engaging customers in a mix of face-to-face and online remote meetings.
