Job summary

Rockwell Automation's Technical Sales and Consulting Internship Program is a 12-week paid internship where you will develop your sales, technical, and professional skillsets. You will work with manufacturing customers to help them improve their productivity using Rockwell Automation solutions.

You will receive in-person, online, and on-the-job training. There are three tracks available: Business Development Representative, Account Manager, and Technology Consultant.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a bachelor’s or advanced degree from an accredited college or university.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.; no visa sponsorship provided.
• Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale.
• Pursuing degrees in electrical, industrial, mechanical, mechatronics, software or chemical engineering; CS, industrial distribution, supply chain, business or similar.
• Have a valid US driver's license and vehicle to use for the internship (certain tracks).
• Previous intern experience with Rockwell Automation or partners is a plus.
• Experience with technical skills relevant to manufacturing.
• Expected graduation December 2027 or beyond and full-time enrollment after internship.

Responsibilities

• Business Development Representatives develop and qualify new sales opportunities with Sales and Marketing teams.
• Account Managers develop and implement sales strategies and plans to meet sales goals.
• Technology Consultants communicate benefits of Rockwell Automation products and services to customers.
