Job summary

Rinker is seeking a Technical Resource Engineer to promote engineered precast concrete products to engineers, specifiers, and DOTs, while maintaining strong client relationships and driving market growth.

You will work with state and local agencies to improve specifications, present solutions, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver customer-centric outcomes. A PE is preferred, with at least 5 years of relevant experience and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• PE license preferred (not mandatory).
• Minimum of 5 years related experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communications with strong presentation skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel 35% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Present project-specific solutions to civil engineering clients and State DOTs/municipalities.
• Promote engineered precast concrete products to engineers, specifiers, end users, and internal teams.
• Collaborate with DOTs and local municipalities on storm drain specifications.
• Manage relationships with industry organizations.
• Build strong customer relationships and deliver customer-centric solutions.
• Presentations to engineering entities and trade associations.
• Serve as liaison between engineer and sales/operations groups.
• Educate on material specifying process and introduce new products.
• Organize Lunch & Learn and Engineering Plant Tour opportunities.
• Attend trade shows in the designated territory.
• Perform special projects or assignments as directed.
