Job summary

CentiMark Corporation, a leader in the commercial/industrial roofing industry, seeks an entry-level Roofing Technical Representative in Lenexa, KS to support Sales Representatives. The role includes traveling to customer sites, inspecting roofs, measuring, estimating materials and labor, and assisting in proposals.

Premier benefits accompany a salary of $55k–$65k per year. Ideal candidates will have construction/roofing exposure, proficiency with MS Word/Excel, and a valid driver’s license;

Qualifications

• Proficient with MS Word and Excel; experience with estimating software.
• Construction/roofing experience or related sales exposure preferred.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing; able to climb ladders to 25 feet.
• Experience with commercial roofing systems is a plus; training provided for right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customers’ locations and inspect commercial roofs.
• Communicate with customers and identify problem areas on roofs.
• Measure roofs and estimate materials and labor for re-roofing.
• Assist Sales with accurate information for customer proposals.
• Support marketing efforts to develop new accounts.

CentiMark Corporation, the nation’s leader in the commercial/industrial roofing industry, has an exceptional opportunity for an entry-level Roofing Technical Representative to support Sales Representatives in our Lenexa, KS office.

This position pays $55k - $65k plus premier benefits.

Job Summary

• Travel to customers’ locations and inspect commercial roofs
• Communicate with customers and check roofs for problem areas
• Measure commercial roofs and estimate the amount of roofing material and labor needed to re-roof
• Work closely with the sales force to provide them with accurate information for the creation of proposals for customers
• Assist in marketing for new accounts

Candidate Requirements

• Computer skills (proficient in MS Word, Excel and Bid Estimating Software)
• General construction, roofing and/or construction sales experience
• A valid driver’s license in good standing
• Able to climb up and down ladders to minimum heights of 25 feet
• Experience with commercial roofing systems: THERMOPLASTIC, BUR, METAL, EPDM, TILE, SPF FOAM and COATINGS preferred, but will train the right individual
• College Degree in Construction Management or similar preferred
