Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. in Irving, TX is seeking a Technical Regulatory Compliance Engineering Specialist to support product regulatory programs for Cat Technology including Automation & Autonomy systems.

You will collaborate with engineering to analyze safety control systems and ensure compliance across markets. Ideal candidates have a degree in Engineering or related field, experience in electronic systems, and proficiency with PowerBI dashboards for reporting.

  • Knowledge of data gathering and analysis tools, and ability to synthesize data from multiple sources.
  • Understanding and applying risk management to diverse situations.
  • Ability to collaborate across groups to achieve compliant outcomes.
  • Familiarity with product regulatory requirements and how they apply to Caterpillar products.
  • Experience using data to support regulatory decisions and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product engineering to lead functional safety analysis on safety control systems.
  • Understand and stay current on product regulatory requirements and apply them to Caterpillar products.
  • Follow established processes to collect, assess, and manage information for product certification and compliance.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and tools used to manage product regulatory compliance risks.
