Kastle in San Francisco is seeking a highly skilled Technical Contract Recruiter to identify, attract, evaluate, and place top technical talent across software, ML, and related roles.

You will drive full-cycle recruiting, leverage LinkedIn Recruiter and ATS, partner with hiring managers, manage pipelines, and close candidates on contract engagements, ensuring a fast, precise hiring process.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of technical recruiting experience in tech companies or startups.
• Proven ability to source, screen, and place contractors or project-based staff.
• Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS, candidate databases, and online sourcing.
• Excellent assessment, interviewing, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple requisitions and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Full-cycle recruiting for technical roles including software engineers and ML engineers.
• Source candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS, job boards, referrals, and networks.
• Assess candidates via phone/video, discuss compensation, and close offers.
• Partner with hiring managers to define requirements and pipelines.
• Maintain candidate pipelines and provide regular status updates.

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled, results-driven Technical Contract Recruiter to identify, attract, evaluate, and place top technical talent. The ideal candidate has a strong background in full-cycle technical recruiting, candidate sourcing, relationship management, and navigating fast-paced hiring environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Full-Cycle Recruiting: Manage the end-to-end recruiting process, from intake meetings and sourcing through screening, interview coordination, offer negotiation, and placement.

• Technical Talent Sourcing: Proactively identify and engage qualified candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, applicant tracking systems (ATS), job boards, referrals, professional networks, and other sourcing tools.

• Technical Recruiting Expertise: Recruit for a variety of technical positions, including Software Engineers, Machine Learning Engineers, Forward Deployed Engineers and more.

• Candidate Assessment: Conduct thorough phone and video screenings to evaluate technical experience, relevant skills, communication abilities, employment history, compensation expectations, and overall fit.

• Hiring Manager Partnership: Collaborate with hiring managers and account teams to define job requirements, establish candidate profiles, prioritize requisitions, and provide regular pipeline updates.

• Pipeline Management: Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines, develop talent pools for recurring roles, and maintain consistent engagement with active and prospective candidates.

• Interview Coordination: Facilitate interview scheduling, prepare candidates, collect feedback, and maintain communication throughout the selection process.

• Offer Management and Closing: Present opportunities effectively, address candidate concerns, negotiate within approved compensation parameters, and secure candidate commitments.

• Recruiting Metrics: Track submissions, interviews, placements, time-to-fill, candidate conversion rates, and other key performance indicators.

• Market Intelligence: Stay informed about technical skill demand, candidate availability, compensation trends, and competitive hiring practices.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of technical recruiting experience at well established tech company or start up

• Demonstrated success sourcing, screening, and placing technical professionals in contract or project-based positions.

• Proven experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, applicant tracking systems, candidate databases, and online sourcing platforms.

• Excellent candidate assessment, interviewing, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

• Ability to manage multiple open requisitions and changing priorities in a deadline-driven environment.

• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through.

• Ability to build trust with candidates and our Founders

• Experience maintaining recruiting activity, candidate pipelines, and performance metrics.
