Job summary

SoFi is hiring a recruiter to join our Technology organization. You will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and recruiting top talent while maintaining a wonderful candidate experience. You will work cross-functionally within our People Team as well as collaborate with multiple product & business unit leaders to help scale their teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of technical sourcing or recruiting experience (in-house or agency).
• Experience with traditional and non-traditional recruiting methods.
• Full lifecycle candidate management including negotiation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with key business stakeholders to understand hiring needs.
• Proactively recruit and maintain relationships with senior talent.
• Identify candidates through cold calling, lead gen, internet recruiting, referrals, social networks.
• Manage candidates and provide a positive experience (resume review, phone screens, interview coordination).
• Partner with leaders to establish plans and recruit technical talent more effectively.
• Act as an advocate for client and candidate throughout the hiring process.
• Summarize candidate strengths, liabilities, and requirements.
• Organize and facilitate interview debriefs.
• Coordinate with Compensation, Talent Programs, and People Analytics teams.

The role:

SoFi is hiring a recruiter to join our team and support our Technology organization. You will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and recruiting top talent while maintaining a wonderful candidate experience. You will work cross-functionally within our People Team as well as collaborate with multiple product & business unit leaders to help scale their teams. What you’ll do:

• Collaborate with key business stakeholders to deeply understand hiring needs
• Proactively recruit and maintain relationships with highly sought after senior talent
• Identify candidates to fill internal and client openings through cold calling, lead generation, internet recruiting, referral generation, social networking etc.
• Manage candidates in process and provide them with a positive experience (review resumes, conduct phone screens, coordinate in-person interviews, in a timely manner)
• Be a thought partner with leaders to establish plans, define strategies, and deliver solutions that refine the way we recruit technical talent
• Act as an advocate for both client and candidate throughout the hiring process; establishing regular touch points and providing diligent follow through resulting in a wonderful candidate and client experience
• Understand and summarize candidate's key strengths, liabilities, and requirements
• Organize and facilitate interview debriefs
• Work closely with Compensation, Talent Programs, and People Analytics teams to take into account every component of an effective search

What you’ll need:

• 3+ years of technical sourcing or recruiting experience required (in-house or within a technical agency)
• Experience utilizing traditional and non-traditional recruiting methodologies
• Full lifecycle candidate management including identification, interview preparation and closing, i.e. compensation negotiation
• Ability to assess candidate's basic technical abilities; identify and match candidate's behavioral traits
• Self-starter, motivated, and detailed/results-oriented
• Strong organizational skills
• Team player
• Ability to connect and effectively communicate with people of all levels

Compensation And Benefits

The base pay range for this role is listed below. Final base pay offer will be determined based on individual factors such as the candidate’s experience, skills, and location.
