Job summary

Advantage Technical is seeking a seasoned Technical Recruiter to join a corporate Talent Acquisition team supporting Field Operations across the downstream Oil & Gas industry. The role focuses on sourcing and recruiting technical, professional, and plant operations talent in a competitive labor market.

Responsibilities include developing sourcing strategies, engaging passive candidates, maintaining pipelines, and coordinating end-to-end hiring activities in collaboration with senior recruiters

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in talent sourcing or recruiting.
• Proficiency with ATS platforms, LinkedIn Recruiter, CRM tools, and Boolean search.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced recruiting environment.
• Oil & Gas recruiting experience preferred, especially for downstream operations and technical roles.

• Identify, engage, and build relationships with passive candidates.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
• Conduct resume reviews, candidate screenings, interviews, offer negotiations, and onboarding coordination.
• Partner with senior recruiters and hiring managers to align recruiting strategies with business needs.
• Research market trends, competitor hiring activity, talent availability, and salary benchmarks.
• Track recruiting metrics, maintain accurate ATS records, and recommend process improvements.
• Deliver a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
