Base pay range

$110,000.00/yr - $180,000.00/yr

What You’ll Do

Build the 0 → 1 hiring engine that powers Mintlify’s exponential growth. You will own every stage of recruiting, learning from the founders, become the first face candidates meet, and hire the best talent that keeps us ahead of the curve.

  • Design the talent engine from scratch. Architect a full-cycle recruiting process that you own end-to-end—from job post to onboarding—so candidates get a consistent, high-signal experience.
  • Source in unexpected places. Hunt for builders where they like to live whether on GitHub, Hacker News, Discord, alumni lists, niche conferences, or anywhere ambitious engineers congregate.
  • Champion the Mintlify story. Craft outreach, events, and content that broadcast why our mission and culture attract high performers.
  • Run structured, bar-raising interviews. Test for motivation, learning velocity, and technical depth; partner with hiring managers to calibrate and maintain quality.
  • Optimize with data. Instrument metrics in Ashby, experiment with creative hacks, and iterate rapidly to shorten time-to-hire without losing the personal touch or candidate experience.

What You’ll Bring

  • Verifiable experience in technical recruiting or people-ops in fast-growing startups, with a track record of sourcing, engaging, and closing top engineers.
  • Supreme organization and ownership. You juggle multiple searches, keep stakeholders aligned, and move with urgency.
  • Outstanding storytelling skills. Your outreach is concise, warm, and creative enough to out-compete bigger brands.
  • A bias for experimentation. You A/B test subject lines & copy, automate workflows, and aren’t afraid to try unique tactics.
  • Respect for diversity. Our team speaks 12 languages and have all lived multiple lives—you help us stay vibrant and inclusive.
  • Nice-to-haves: ability to read code, experience standing up recruiting infrastructure from scratch, and fluency with Ashby.
