Job summary

Forgepoint Technologies, Inc. in New York City is seeking a true 0→1 recruiting lead who will own full-cycle recruiting across engineering and GTM.

You will source, build pipelines, ensure a top-notch candidate experience, and close candidates as we scale from a small founding team to many. You will work directly with the founders and hiring managers to define what great looks like for each role, run fast and thoughtful processes, and reflect care for the team in every candidate interaction.

Job description

This is a true 0→1 recruiting role — you'll build the team that builds Forgepoint. You'll own full-cycle recruiting across engineering and go-to-market: sourcing, pipeline, candidate experience, and close. You'll be hands-on and high-volume, and you'll set the bar for how we hire as we scale from a small founding team to many.

You'll work directly with the founders and hiring managers to define what "great" looks like for each role, run a fast and thoughtful process, and give every candidate an experience that reflects how much we care about the team. This is a seat for a builder who wants to shape a company through the people they bring in.

• You have full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally technical
• You're an excellent sourcer who can find and engage top talent others miss
• You're sharp on candidate experience and move fast without dropping the ball
• You're organized and data-driven about your pipeline
• You're low-ego and collaborative with hiring managers
• You care about our mission, and you want to see the American manufacturing base get stronger
• You're excited to work in person 5 days a week in our NYC office, with a founder and growth mindset
• You've recruited engineers at a startup or high-growth company
• You've built a sourcing or hiring process from scratch
• You use AI tooling to accelerate sourcing, screening, and outreach
• Experience recruiting across both technical and GTM roles

Alex Pareto — Co-Founder & CTO

Alex began at Meta, founded YC-backed Demeanor, and joined NTWRK after its acquisition. He later became a founding engineer on Brex Spend Management and led its engineering organization. He holds a BS in Computer Science from USC.
