Educational Services Center in Downingtown, PA.

This is a support staff position working with our Student Services Division supporting our four center based schools. Child and Career Development Center Coatesville, Child and Career Development Center Great Valley, Child and Career Development Center Engle Campus, and Chester County Learning Center. The position is responsible for reviewing and approving electronic logs submitted by staff regarding services provided. The incumbent will monitor that logs have all the necessary components completed and that the time reported is consistent with the contracted service. The Technical Reader will be responsible for: all non-clinical duties necessary to aid both programs, data coordination, ensuring the timely reviewing and approving of staff logs, identifying potential errors and communicating directly with staff to correct, and producing reports as requested. Uploading notes and docs as necessary into electronic billing' systems. This position is located at the Educational Services Center in Downingtown, PA.

Essential Job Responsibilities
  • The incumbent will access online databases and approve the daily submission of electronic logs by staff in a timely and accurate manner and upload any required documents. Update databases as clients are enrolled and exited. Create new accounts for staff as required.
  • Will monitor to ensure all the necessary components of the log has been completed and will communicate with staff to make any necessary corrections. Communicate with case managers regarding any consistent compliance issues.
  • Will audit data by completing weekly/monthly reports to monitor data for entry errors and ensure compliance with current state and federal regulations. Prepare and submit required reports to districts, state, and federal agencies.
  • Will function as primary contact with IT regarding database revisions and technical issues. Collaborate with IT and payroll departments on staff payroll issues related to data within the databases.
  • Develop systems/charts/graphs/projections to track targeted data to improve programmatic efficiency.
  • Will develop systems and procedures to train staff in order to maintain the integrity of all data entered into database systems. Attend and facilitate trainings and meetings to develop and implement new procedures to ensure accurate data.
  • Will assist in the clerical duties associated with logs to the amount and extent that is needed programmatically.
  • The incumbent will perform day-to-day case maintenance, which includes all clerical responsibilities related to the promptness of packet submission and the receipt of service authorization from all identified funders/insurances, etc.
  • Will assist in the clerical duties associated with H&CS Training to the amount and extent that is needed programmatically.
  • Support and coordinate with other technical readers as may be needed for special projects and/or heavy workload periods.
  • Perform additional duties as needed and specified by new mandates and requirements.
  • Provide guidance and training to staff in the use of various computer application programs: word processing, database, spreadsheets, and other computer applications.

  • Must be skilled in supporting staff to properly meet their responsibilities.
  • Must be skilled in Microsoft Office Word and Excel.

Hourly Rate (2026-2027 SY)

Support Staff, Level 11, Nonexempt: $24.82/hr. to $32.90/hr.
