Job summary

Harmar Mobility is seeking a detail-oriented Technical Publications Specialist to create clear, accurate documentation that supports our mobility products for dealers and customers nationwide. You will collaborate with engineering, product management, and QA to ensure technical accuracy and usability.

Ideal candidates have proven technical writing experience, strong written and verbal communication skills, and familiarity with documentation processes, templates, and version control.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in technical writing or a related field.
• Ability to simplify complex concepts for a wide audience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with documentation processes, templates, and version control systems.
• Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot) to enhance productivity.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Adobe InDesign is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, write, and edit technical manuals, procedures, and product documentation
• Translate complex technical information into clear, concise language
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and QA teams to ensure content accuracy
• Create and maintain technical specifications and test documentation
• Produce and manage both digital and print documentation
• Ensure consistency in terminology, tone, and formatting across all materials
