Job summary

CNH Industrial in Wisconsin is seeking a Technical Publications Specialist to write and update manuals, reports, briefs, proposals, instruction books, catalogs, and related technical publications covering work methods and procedures, installation, operation, and maintenance.

You will interview technical staff to collect product information, develop and enforce document control standards, ensure GMP and QSR compliance, and distribute training materials to teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of relevant experience or a high school diploma with 8 years of relevant experience.
• Experience maintaining documents and change control in regulated environments (GMP/QSR).
• Strong writing, editing and communication skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop clear written materials to support quality activities, operations, maintenance and training.
• Interview technical staff to collect process or product information and specifications.
• Develop and maintain procedures and standards for document control and change management.
• Maintain document control records and ensure GMP/QSR compliance.
• Adhere to terminology and editorial quality standards; distribute publications as needed.
• Other related duties as assigned.

Job Purpose

The Technical Publications Specialist is responsible for writting and updating material for reports, manuals, briefs, proposals, instruction books, catalogs, and related technical and administrative publications concerned with work methods and procedures, installation, operation, and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develops clear written materials to support quality activities such as operations, maintenance or repair manuals, training documentation and standard operating procedures, specifications and help systems.
• Interviews technical staff to collect process or product information and specifications.
• Develops and maintains procedures and standards for maintaining documents and change control of documents, including document development, approval, production, distribution and amendment.
• Maintains computerized document control records management system and/or hardcopy documents to ensure compliance with all applicable and required standards including GMP (good manufacturing practice) and QSR (quality system regulation) requirements.
• Adheres to established terminology, style and editorial quality standards.
• Distribution and training of created publications as needed.
• Other related duties as assigned.

Experience Required

• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline witha minimum of 6 years of relevant experience or
• High School diplome with 8 years of relevant experience.

Pay Transparency

The annual salary for this role is $74,625 - $99,500 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.). For roles open across multiple locations, the salary range indicated refers to the primary location. If a different location is considered, the applicable salary range will be communicated to candidates prior to the first interview.
