Job summary

Meiden America Switchgear Inc is seeking a Technical Publications Specialist to own the lifecycle of high voltage switchgear instruction booklets, manuals, and assembly instructions. You will collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, service teams, and use Autodesk Inventor for visuals, ensuring alignment with drawings, BOMs, and quality standards.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field and 5+ years in technical documentation, with proficiency in Office,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
• 5+ years in technical documentation or manufacturing engineering.
• Ability to translate complex information into clear instructions.
• Experience with controlled documentation and technical orders.
• Proficiency with CAD tools and Inventor is required.

Responsibilities

• Own lifecycle of product instruction booklets, including drafting and approvals.
• Develop instructions for receiving, inspecting, installation, operation, and maintenance.
• Organize content for customers, field service, and internal teams.
• Create and maintain drawings, diagrams, and visuals to support instructions.
• Use Inventor to create 3D models and illustrations for documentation.
• Verify content aligns with released drawings, BOMs, specs, and configurations.
• Maintain revision history and documentation relationships.
