The Royal Caribbean Group’s Supply Chain Team has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Analyst, Technical Procurement reporting tothe Senior Manager, Procurement .
This position is onsite and based in 100 Biscayne Blvd, Florida.

Position Summary
The Buyer II is responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement process in support of marine car projects, ensuring the timely acquisition of materials, equipment, and services required to support project schedules and operational objectives. This role will oversee sourcing activities, supplier negotiations, purchase order management, logistics coordination, and vendor performance management while ensuring compliance with company policies and procurement best practices.
The ideal candidate is a proactive procurement professional with experience managing complex supply chains, negotiating commercial agreements, coordinating logistics activities, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders in a fast-paced project environment.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement & Sourcing
- Manage the full procurement lifecycle from requisition through purchase order issuance and invoice resolution.
- Source materials, components, equipment, and services required for marine car projects.
- Evaluate supplier capabilities, pricing, lead times, and quality performance.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies that support project timelines and cost objectives.
- Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for cost savings and supplier consolidation.
- Maintain compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and approval requirements.
- Lead negotiations for pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, warranties, and service agreements.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure continuity of supply and high service levels.
- Conduct supplier performance reviews and implement corrective action plans when necessary.
- Support supplier qualification and risk assessment activities.
- Resolve supplier‑related issues impacting project schedules or operational performance.
Project Support
- Partner closely with Engineering, Operations, Project Management, Logistics, and Finance teams.
- Support marine car projects through the planning, sourcing, and execution phases.
- Monitor project procurement schedules and proactively identify risks to delivery timelines.
- Provide procurement status updates and reporting to project teams and management.
- Ensure materials and services are delivered according to project milestones.
Logistics & Supply Chain Coordination
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments with suppliers and logistics providers.
- Manage transportation, customs documentation, freight arrangements, and delivery tracking.
- Monitor material movements to ensure timely delivery to project sites.
- Resolve shipment delays, inventory shortages, and logistics‑related issues.
- Collaborate with warehouse and receiving teams to ensure proper receipt and inventory accuracy.
- Create, maintain, and manage purchase orders within ERP systems.
- Track supplier commitments and follow up on open orders.
- Support invoice reconciliation and resolve procurement‑related payment issues.
- Monitor spending against budgets and project forecasts.
- Generate procurement reports, KPIs, and spend analysis.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of procurement or supply chain experience.
- Experience managing sourcing and purchasing activities within project‑based environments.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Experience coordinating domestic and international logistics.
- Proficiency with ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, or similar platforms.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and data analysis skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the marine, transportation, automotive, manufacturing, or engineering industries.
- Knowledge of import/export regulations and international trade compliance.
- Professional certifications such as CPSM, CPM, APICS, or ISM certifications.
- Experience supporting large capital projects or engineered equipment procurement.
