Job Title: Technical Project/Product Manager III

Location: Remote (PST preferred, flexible w/i continental US)

Job Description: About the Role:

• Client is seeking a Temporary Product Manager to support product planning and execution for cross-functional initiatives.
• In this role, you will help define product requirements, coordinate delivery milestones, and support decision-making through clear documentation and data-informed insights.
• Google sheets, google workspace, AI for productivity

Must-Have HARD Skills:

• Product management
• Cross functional collaboration
• Product data analysis, funnel analytics growth role experience - suggest improvements

Nice-to-have Skills

• Commerce, payments, or checkout experience, any crucial financial data
• VR/AR platform experience

Years of Experience: 5+ years as a PM

Key Projects/Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Manage roadmap and execution for our commerce and payment systems in VR
• Analyze and suggest improvements in our payment setup and checkout flows
• Define and analyze the metrics that determine success in this area, including payment method attach, checkout completion, redemption and balance usage. Identify and track key performance indicators.

Responsibilities:

• Support product strategy and planning by contributing to product roadmaps, requirements, and prioritization discussions.
• Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., Engineering, Design, Data Science/Analytics, Research, Marketing, Operations) to coordinate execution against defined goals and timelines.
• Gather and synthesize inputs from stakeholders and users to inform product requirements and trade-offs.
• Draft clear product documentation, including PRDs, user stories, release notes, and stakeholder updates.
• Assist in defining success metrics and monitoring product performance, risks, and dependencies.
• Help drive operational excellence by tracking action items, decisions, and milestone progress across workstreams.

Minimum Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in product management or a closely related role (or equivalent practical experience).
• Experience translating business and user needs into clear product requirements and prioritized plans.
• Experience working with cross-functional partners to deliver outcomes in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience producing structured product documentation.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to use data to inform decisions and measure impact.

Purpose/Size of this team & where does this position fit within the team?

• Part of the VR Developer PM team
• Eng size varies based on projects in flights. Estimated 4-6 SWE, plus Design and Data Science

• This role will define how people setup and pay for content on the device.
