Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Jersey City, NJ is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead end-to-end technology programs in Banking/Financial Services. You will drive Agile delivery, manage risks, and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams across Product, Architecture, Development, QA, and Infrastructure.

The role requires 7-9 years in technical project management, strong governance and stakeholder communication, and hands-on experience with RAID logs, change and release management,

Roles & Responsibilities

Project & Program Management

Risk & Control Management

• Identify, assess, and mitigate project, operational, technology, and regulatory risks.
• Maintain RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) logs and ensure timely remediation.
• Partner with Enterprise Risk, Compliance, Audit, Information Security, and Control Functions.
• Lead risk assessments, control evaluations, issue management, and corrective action planning.
• Ensure adherence to client and regulatory requirements including SOX, FFIEC, OCC, and enterprise risk governance standards.
• Support audits, regulatory reviews, and control testing activities.

Agile Delivery & Governance

• Drive Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Backlog Grooming, Daily Standups, Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Monitor delivery metrics, sprint health, velocity, and project KPIs.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate project health effectively.
• Ensure alignment with SDLC, change management, release management, and environment management processes. Technical Leadership
• Work closely with Engineering and Architecture teams to understand technical dependencies and implementation plans.
• Manage integration projects involving cloud, APIs, data platforms, middleware, and enterprise applications.
• Review technical designs and identify delivery risks, capacity constraints, and operational impacts.
• Support production readiness reviews and post-implementation monitoring.
