Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Charlotte, NC is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager with 8+ years of experience to lead planning, coordination, and delivery across cross-functional teams. You will communicate objectives, timelines, and status to stakeholders and manage risks, dependencies, and quality.

Responsibilities include governance coordination, end-to-end visibility through metrics, and ensuring compliance with standards.

• 8 + years of Technical Project Management
• Proven experience leading the planning, coordination, and delivery of projects or small-to-medium programs involving multiple cross-functional teams.
• Strong ability to communicate objectives, priorities, timelines, and delivery status to stakeholders at all levels.
• Demonstrated success managing project risks, dependencies, issues, and mitigation plans to ensure successful outcomes.
• Experience ensuring compliance with organizational standards, governance processes, and quality requirements.
• Ability to provide end-to-end visibility into project health through effective reporting, metrics, and stakeholder communications.
• Track record of delivering solutions that meet client and business expectations for functionality, quality, schedule, and cost.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills across business, technology, and operational teams.
• Experience facilitating cross-functional meetings, governance reviews, and synchronization points to drive alignment and execution.
• Proficiency with project management methodologies, tools, and best practices, including Agile and/or Waterfall delivery frameworks.
• Ability to influence without direct authority and drive accountability across multiple teams and organizations.10 + years of Technical Project Management o Good understanding of Design Patterns and design thinking. Able to apply while developing technical solutions
• Works well under pressure. Manage multiple priorities, be proactive, and deliver quality results under aggressive deadlines.

Desired Qualifications

• Familiarity with Microservices and related technologies
• Familiarity with SOAP and REST Web Services and related technologies (JAX-WS, JAX-RS, XML Technologies).
• Experience with projects utilizing AI assisted software development

Qualifications

• BA or BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience with Capital Markets / Primary Markets deal execution is strongly required (5+ years preferable).
• Strong understanding of New Issue, Book Building, and Syndication workflows in Fixed Income and Equities.
• Prior experience providing desk-aligned production support in a trading floor or capital markets environment.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills; ability to resolve critical production issues quickly under pressure.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills; able to interact confidently with front-office users.
• Knowledge of bond fundamentals and capital markets execution processes is mandatory.
• Ability to document workflows, create knowledge repositories, and provide effective training.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple issues and requests simultaneously.
• Prior experience with vendor platforms for deal execution (e.g., Ipreo / Primary Portal / Dealogic) is a plus.
