Job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Technical Project Manager - Security based in United States.

This role is an opportunity to coordinate complex technical implementation projects across real estate, IT, and security environments.
You will serve as a key day-to-day coordination point between clients, project teams, and technical stakeholders.
The position spans telecommunications, structured cabling, audiovisual, security, acoustics, and wired and wireless networks.
You will bring structure to schedules, dependencies, documentation, risks, and project handoffs across multiple workstreams.
The role combines client-facing communication with hands‑on project coordination and continuous process improvement.
You will receive mentorship while progressively strengthening your project management judgment, scope awareness, and delivery leadership.
Success will be measured through reliable execution, strong documentation, client confidence, and predictable project outcomes.

Accountabilities
  • Coordinate day-to-day execution across assigned technical implementation projects, maintaining visibility into tasks, milestones, dependencies, risks, and ownership.
  • Serve as a dependable coordination point for client contacts and internal project teams, ensuring communication is timely, professional, and action-oriented.
  • Support projects involving telecommunications infrastructure, structured cabling, audiovisual, security, acoustics, and wired and wireless networks, including multi-system integration activities.
  • Track project scope, schedules, procurement activities, implementation dependencies, and handoff requirements to support on-time and on-scope delivery.
  • Maintain accurate project trackers, decision logs, meeting notes, action registers, status reports, and other documentation required for transparent project execution.
  • Coordinate with Subtask Project Managers, Project Supervisors, Group Leads, Team Leads, and delivery teams to align execution with project objectives.
  • Identify blockers and emerging risks early, provide appropriate context and proposed next steps, and elevate issues before they affect project commitments.
  • Support troubleshooting coordination by routing issues to the appropriate teams and tracking them through resolution.
  • Participate in project health reviews, quarterly business reviews, client meetings, and account continuity activities as required.
  • Support scope updates, Professional Services Agreement and Additional Services Agreement documentation, implementation readiness, and handover activities when project requirements change.
  • Reinforce accurate time, expense, billing, forecasting, and project-control practices, including maintaining Accounts Receivable over 90 days below 10% of total assigned-project AR and keeping project stale dates below 3% in VantagePoint.
  • Contribute lessons learned, documentation improvements, and Pull Requests that strengthen PMO consistency and reduce recurring delivery friction.
  • Support pursuit preparation, proposal coordination, interview logistics, client feedback tracking, and other project-related activities as needed.
  • Participate in structured mentorship and training while helping reinforce documentation, coordination, and implementation-tracking standards across project teams.
  • Demonstrate accountability, professionalism, and a commitment to core values centered on care, trust, and delivering value.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in project coordination or project management within an AEC, technical services, construction, or professional services environment.
  • Experience supporting technical implementation projects and coordinating cross-functional teams is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage defined project responsibilities consistently, accurately, and with minimal rework.
  • Working knowledge of project scope, scheduling, dependencies, delivery coordination, and implementation readiness.
  • Strong organizational, communication, prioritization, and follow-through skills across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Ability to work effectively with clients, technical teams, and stakeholders across different functions and time zones.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain structured, accurate, and accessible project documentation.
  • Proficiency with project and collaboration tools such as Asana, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Bluebeam, GitHub, VantagePoint, Microsoft Project, Procore, and Navisworks.
  • CAPM certification is preferred; PMP and CDT certifications are considered additional advantages.
  • Ability to communicate project updates, blockers, dependencies, and decisions clearly and proactively.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to client sites for meetings, surveys, inspections, and other project activities.
  • Ability to work in office, remote, client‑site, and construction environments as project requirements dictate.
  • Ability to perform occasional site‑walk activities involving extended standing or walking, stairs, bending, kneeling, confined spaces, and lifting or moving equipment weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Benefits
  • Annual salary range of $115,000–$150,000, depending on skills, experience, knowledge, and subject‑matter expertise.
