Job description

As Project Manager for the Salesforce team, you'll play a pivotal role in streamlining workflows and driving the successful launch of new features and initiatives. Partnering with Product Managers, engineers, analysts, and org-wide stakeholders, you’ll translate strategic vision into action—coordinating sprints, improving processes, and ensuring alignment across squads.

You’ll own Jira organization, manage dependencies, facilitate key meetings (standups, retros, planning), and remove roadblocks to keep projects moving. Whether supporting sprint rituals, collaborating with operational teams like Finance and Audience Care, or flexing to special projects, your role is to optimize delivery across the Product Team.

In all you do, you’ll advance BibleProject’s mission: helping people experience the Bible as a unified story that leads to Jesus.

Core Responsibilities
Leadership
  • Champion Agile practices—coach teams on project management tactics and agile methodologies, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Facilitate essential meetings (standups, retros, planning, kickoffs, go/no-go’s) and model transparent communication across stakeholders.
  • Act as a liaison between the Salesforce Team and the business units it serves (Audience Care, Finance, Operations, Patron Care), ensuring alignment and collaborative problem-solving.
  • Build strong relationships across technical teams, analysts, content creators, and operational stakeholders to foster a culture of partnership and clarity.
Responsibility
  • Partner with the Salesforce Product Manager to shape project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans including timelines, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Own Jira organization—tracking requirements, clarifying dependencies, and supporting accountability across squads.
  • Lead cross-functional discussions and manage sprint rituals (Scrum, Kanban), tracking progress and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Proactively identify and remove roadblocks to maintain momentum and meet project deadlines.
  • Track and communicate Salesforce product and content releases, ensuring efficient delivery and clear communication across impacted teams.
Expertise
  • Deep understanding of the needs, behaviors, and pain points of internal teams and stakeholders within Salesforce ecosystems.
  • Skilled in user research, data analysis, and feedback gathering to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Familiar with Salesforce development processes, software development lifecycles, and agile methodologies (preferably SaaS environments).
  • Proficient in project management tools (e.g., Jira) and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Amplitude) for tracking effectiveness and informing decisions.
What We're Looking For
  • 3+ years of project management experience utilizing agile methodologies within SaaS or related technical environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including engineers, designers, and product managers on project scoping, refinement, and estimation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey technical and non-technical information clearly to stakeholders.
  • Proven understanding of technical audiences, including their workflows, requirements, and communication preferences.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while also contributing effectively within a team environment.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills for identifying issues, assessing risks, and implementing solutions.
  • Experience operating in fast-paced, collaborative work environments, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Appreciation for BibleProject’s mission to help people experience the Bible as a unified story that leads to Jesus.
