Job summary

Blue State is seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead digital projects from strategy to delivery, interfacing with clients and cross-functional teams of designers, developers, and strategists. You will manage scope, timelines, and budgets for website development and platform initiatives.

You will collaborate with UX, design, and tech stakeholders, ensuring clear specifications, risk management, and quality control across multiple projects in a hybrid US-based setting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a technical project manager in digital strategy and agile website development.
• Experience with Wordpress or Drupal builds.
• Strong written and oral communication, and ability to work with clients and tech teams.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Empathy, respect, and role-model behavior at Blue State.

Responsibilities

• Scope, define, estimate, and manage budgets and timelines for strategy, website redesign, and platform projects.
• Define product specifications and functional requirements with teams.
• Support senior team in managing client relationships and coordination of internal teams.
• Manage project communications, resourcing, and financial health.
• Lead project status meetings with internal teams and clients.
• Oversee multiple website builds and prioritize with agency/client expectations.
• Identify scope creep and mitigate risks with the client and teams.
• Lead testing and quality control for deliverables.
• Conduct post-project assessments and recommend improvements.
• Ensure project documents are complete and archived.
