Job summary

Blue State is seeking a Product Manager to collaborate with nonprofits and progressive organizations on digital products, including websites and marketing platforms.

You’ll work across Tech, Strategy, Design, and Analytics teams, conducting user research, defining requirements, and shaping sprint plans with acceptance criteria. This role connects strategists, designers, engineers, analysts, content producers, and clients to deliver impactful solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience, especially on website projects.
• Familiar with CMS-driven websites (WordPress) and vetting designs for feasibility.
• Experience using qualitative and quantitative data to guide product decisions.
• Willing to wear multiple hats across UX, content strategy, and user research.
• Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients’ digital platforms to identify goals and communicate solutions.
• Develop user personas and journeys to represent user needs in planning.
• Lead product research, ideation, and prioritization sessions.
• Write and maintain functional requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Create testing and measurement plans with strategists and analysts.
• Assist in scoping new client engagements and feasibility checks.
• Contribute to PM practice docs and toolkits.
