Job summary

Peraton seeks a Technical Project Manager in Herndon, VA to plan and manage multiple concurrent development projects and operations. You will lead up to 20 developers/analysts, ensure contract deliverables, and report progress to clients.

Ideal candidates have PMP certification or equivalent, strong leadership, and experience with MS Project, SharePoint, and Jira. This full-time role requires US citizenship and ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 8+ years experience with BS/BA
• MS/MA requires 6+ years; PhD requires 3+ years
• Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain Public Trust clearance
• Experience managing project deadlines and tracking progress

Responsibilities

• Interface with client to determine project requirements and priorities
• Lead a matrixed team of up to 20 developers and analysts
• Prepare project deliverables and progress reports
• Directs and supervises project resources and technical direction
• Manage budget, schedules, and vendor deliverables
• Support business development and assist with proposals
