The role coordinates schedules, resources, and interdependencies across technical and support teams, and calls for a hands-on, technically grounded project manager with strong schedule integration skills and advanced Smartsheet proficiency who can influence across functions without direct authority.RESPONSIBILITIESProject Execution & Schedule Integration• Lead multiple concurrent industrialization projects, including line modifications for capacity increases and new line installations for expanded capabilities• Integrate multiple complex schedules (e.g., machine installation, tooling, programming, qualification) into a single master project plan• Identify and actively manage critical-path interdependencies across teams and workstreamsSmartsheet Architecture & Reporting• Build and maintain Smartsheet project architectures from scratch, including templates, automated workflows, and dashboards• Provide real-time visibility into schedule health, constraints, and risks for leadership and stakeholders• Serve as the Smartsheet \"power user\" for complex, multi-line industrialization programsIndustrialization & Operational Readiness• Lead scheduling and coordination for machine start-up, process development, programming, tooling, fixtures, and part qualification• Ensure alignment between engineering deliverables and manufacturing readiness• Drive a disciplined handoff from project execution to production ownershipCross-Functional Coordination (Matrixed Environment)• Act as the central execution \"hub\" across CAPEX, CAD/CAM, Deployment, Development, Quality, and Fixture/Part Movement teams• Coordinate daily across technical and support organizations with shared resources• Resolve priority and resource conflicts through influence and data-driven tradeoffsResource, Risk & Procurement Management• Identify resource bottlenecks and negotiate solutions to protect project milestones• Track procurement timing and delivery of tooling, fixtures, and other critical purchased items• Proactively adjust schedules based on supplier push/pull to minimize impact on start-up datesCommunication & Governance• Facilitate regular project status and execution reviews• Provide clear, actionable updates to technical experts, manufacturing leaders, and the stakeholders who will ultimately own the processes• Drive structured issue resolution and escalation as neededREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field (a general technical degree is acceptable)• Minimum of 5–10 years of project management experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment• Demonstrated experience managing multiple complex projects simultaneously• Advanced Smartsheet proficiency• Strong schedule integration capability• PMP certification strongly preferred• Strong influential leadership skills in a matrixed organization• Ability to manage complex interdependencies without direct budget or people authority• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced shop-floor environment• Highly organized, execution-focused, and data-driven• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes; experience in Aerospace or Power Generation preferredMUST HAVE• 5–10 years of project management experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment• Advanced Smartsheet proficiency (templates, automated workflows, dashboards)• Ability to integrate multiple complex schedules into a single master plan• Ability to influence across functions in a matrixed organization without direct authority
