Technical Project Manager, Ecommerce & Data
Mid-Level | Salaried | $115-$125K
City of Industry - Hybrid
We’re seeking a mid-level Technical Project Manager to join a fast-paced fashion and lifestyle brand supporting ecommerce, retail, technology, product, and data/analytics initiatives.
This is a hands-on, execution-focused PM role within a lean, collaborative team. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys being close to the work, writing requirements and tickets, managing sprint cycles, facilitating Scrums, following up on open items, and keeping projects moving from request through delivery. This is a great fit for a PM coming from a smaller or lean team environment who is comfortable wearing multiple hats and working directly with both business and technical partners.
What You’ll Do
- Manage day-to-day projects across ecommerce, retail, data/analytics, technology, and digital platforms
- Gather business needs and translate them into clear requirements, user stories, tickets, and actionable next steps
- Write detailed tickets that clearly outline requirements, functionality, dependencies, acceptance criteria, and expected outcomes
- Break larger initiatives into manageable tickets, tasks, and sprint deliverables
- Own Sprint cycles, including timelines, priorities, dependencies, deliverables, and follow-up
- Facilitate Daily Scrums, Sprint Planning, Retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies
- Follow up closely with stakeholders, developers, Product Owners, and cross-functional partners to keep work moving
- Track open questions, blockers, action items, outstanding requirements, and dependencies through completion
- Partner with Product Owners on backlogs, incoming requests, prioritization, and scope
- Help teams evaluate trade-offs and determine practical technical solutions
- Manage project scope, timelines, resources, risks, and dependencies
- Support QA and frontline testing to ensure requirements are met and projects are ready for delivery
- Help establish and improve Agile workflows, PM processes, documentation, and team best practices
What You’ll Bring
- 5+ years of hands-on Project Management experience, ideally within technology, ecommerce, digital, retail, or data environments
- Strong experience with Agile/Scrum, Sprint cycles, backlogs, Scrums, and Agile workflows
- Demonstrated experience writing technical tickets, requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Ability to take an ambiguous business request and turn it into clear requirements, tickets, priorities, and next steps
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and ability to participate comfortably in technical discussions
- Experience working with data analytics, data engineering, ecommerce, or digital platforms
- Strong follow-through and attention to detail, with a natural tendency to ask questions and close gaps
- Experience with tools such as Jira, Asana, Microsoft 365, Lucidchart, or Visio
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills across business and technical teams
- Comfortable working in a lean, collaborative environment where you may need to wear multiple hats
Ideal Background
We’re especially interested in candidates who have grown their PM experience within smaller, fast-moving teams rather than large, highly layered organizations. You should enjoy being close to the details, working directly with developers and business stakeholders, and owning the day-to-day execution of projects.
Experience within fashion, lifestyle, retail, ecommerce, consumer brands, or digital products is highly valued.
Nice to Have
- Fashion, lifestyle, retail, or ecommerce experience
- Snowflake, SQL, data warehouses, or data architecture
- Experience supporting customer-facing ecommerce or digital products
