Job summary
Leidos, a leader in defense technology, seeks a Technical Project Manager to lead software‑intensive projects in the Defense Sensors Open Air Sensors Division. You will partner with government customers and internal leadership to translate mission needs into actionable priorities, drive schedules, and ensure successful technical delivery.

Qualifications
- BS degree in a related technical field with 12–15 years of applicable experience.
- Strong technical foundation with experience supporting complex software and systems development.
- Proven track record leading technical projects and cross‑functional teams.
- Proficiency in MATLAB or Python and software testing practices.
- Experience with formal and automated software testing, and DevSecOps.
- Knowledge of Linux environments and containerized software.
- Travel willingness to customer locations as required and ability to obtain TS clearance.
Responsibilities
- Lead planning and execution of multiple technical projects within a defense software portfolio.
- Coordinate with government customers and leadership to plan requirements and priorities.
- Develop integrated project schedules, staffing plans, and budgets.
- Guide cross‑functional teams across software, cybersecurity, IT, and test.
- Monitor performance against baselines, identify risks, and implement corrective actions.
- Deliver periodic reviews to customers and leadership with clear status and next steps.
- Oversee software development lifecycle, backlog prioritization, and delivery.
- Interface with customers to translate requirements into actionable priorities.
