Job summary

MedRisk is seeking a Technical Project Manager to plan and manage complex technical initiatives across infrastructure, data, and cloud platforms.

You will own the Microsoft enterprise relationship, drive FinOps reporting, and translate technical requirements for business stakeholders. You will also serve as a consultative technical resource to other PMs, ensuring risks and dependencies are clearly understood.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5+ years of project management experience managing complex technical projects.
• Proficiency with project and portfolio management tools (JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio).
• Strong oral and written communication skills, with ability to translate technical detail for non-technical audiences.
• Deep technical expertise in infrastructure, database systems, and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Independently plan and manage complex technical initiatives, from initiation through closeout.
• Translate technical requirements into actionable project plans, timelines, and milestones.
• Serve as liaison between engineering, IT, and business stakeholders to manage dependencies.
• Coordinate across multiple technical teams to align priorities and sequence interdependent work.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and blockers; drive timely resolution with engineering leads.
• Apply PMO governance, deliver technically-informed status reporting to leadership.
• Own and manage Microsoft enterprise relationship, including licensing and contract coordination.
• Define metrics and dashboards for FinOps; support cost visibility across cloud spend.
• Advise other PMs on infrastructure, database, and cloud feasibility and risk.
